“What from my cellar should I open with steak tonight, something younger?”
Pairing and readiness together, limited to bottles you own.
Cellared in ChatGPT
Ask ChatGPT what to open tonight and get an answer built from the bottles you own, their calculated drinking windows, and what you thought the last time you poured them. Cellared is the first English-language wine cellar app in the ChatGPT app directory.
Download Cellared for iPhone and sign up. The free plan holds unlimited bottles. Your ChatGPT connection uses this account.
Open the ChatGPT app directory, search for Cellared, and choose Install plugin.
ChatGPT sends you to Cellared to sign in. You choose what the connection can read and what it can change. Cellared never shares your password with ChatGPT.
A new cellar is empty, so give ChatGPT something to work with. Paste the prompt below, then ask a real question.

Add these 3 bottles to my cellar: 2018 Ridge Monte Bello, 2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco, 2020 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge. One bottle of each.
Swap in bottles you own. Adding bottles needs the permission to change your cellar, which you choose when you connect. Three bottles is enough to see how a question about readiness, pairing or vintages comes back.

See which vintage to open now and which to hold, side by side.
Your own notes become the context for the next bottle you choose.
Close the loop while the bottle is on the table. Writing needs your permission.
You sign in on Cellared's website and choose what the connection can read and change. Cellared uses OAuth, so ChatGPT never receives your Cellared password. Access to your saved palate profile follows your plan, and you can revoke the connection whenever you like.

A general chat can name a style that suits steak. It cannot know that you hold two vintages of the same Cabernet, that one is younger, or that you rated the other a 3 last spring. Cellared supplies that context, so the answer names a bottle you can walk to and explains the timing behind it.
The timing comes from the drinking windows Cellared calculates with the Cellared Ageability Index. Read how to use a drinking window or compare sommelier apps. More on the full feature list.
It connects your Cellared account to ChatGPT so you can ask questions about the bottles you own. ChatGPT can search your cellar, compare vintages and calculated drinking windows, and explore pairings from your own bottles and saved tastings.
Create a Cellared account in the iPhone app, find Cellared in the ChatGPT app directory, choose Install plugin, then sign in on Cellared's website and pick the permissions you want to grant.
Ask ChatGPT to add a few bottles, for example: "Add these 3 bottles to my cellar: 2018 Ridge Monte Bello, 2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco, 2020 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge." Adding bottles needs write permission. Once they are in, ask what to open or how their windows compare.
Changes need your permission and an explicit request from you. With permission it can record or undo an opening, save a rating and notes, add bottles, edit quantity or region, and remove bottles from active inventory. Without write permission it can read your cellar and answer questions, and it cannot change anything.
Yes. You can review or revoke permissions on the Cellared connection page at any time. Revoking stops future access. It does not remove what already appears in a ChatGPT conversation or undo changes you asked Cellared to save.
No. They are estimates that Cellared calculates for the bottle, using the Cellared Ageability Index (CAI). Storage, bottle condition and your own taste still decide when a bottle is at its best.
Connecting is part of your Cellared account. Access to your saved palate profile follows your plan. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
No. Cellared does not buy or sell wine, in the app or in ChatGPT.
Within the permissions you grant, it can see bottle identities, vintages, quantities, regions, saved drinking windows, tasting dates, ratings and notes. Information returned to ChatGPT is handled by OpenAI under its own terms. Our privacy policy explains the details.
